Cantina Collectibles is Bill Wills and Tracey Hamilton.   We both grew up in the 70's in southwest Ohio, the heart of Kenner Toys, and were fortunate enough to experience Star Wars as a first run film in the theaters.  The toys were such an important part of our childhood and they left deep and lasting memories.   Knowing that they were made just a stone's throw away in Cincinnati made them all the more special.  

Fast forward to the 1993.  The rush of nostalgia discovering that these toys still existed in their original packaging is something I will never forget.  Even more amazing was the realization that there was a small but passionate group of collectors actively building collections, documenting the history of the toys and  pursuing prototypes and other rare items that I never knew existed.    A  whole new world had opened up and it lit a fire that burns to this day.

Even though we arrived separately into the world of toy collecting, our paths eventually crossed.  Several chance meetings later, during late-night Wal Mart trips looking for new Kenner Star Wars figures and running into each other at Trader's World flea market or the local comic shop, we finally decided it might be time to trade numbers and talk.  Out of those conversations a lifelong friendship was born, and we have Star Wars to thank for it.  

What started out as a hobby with a modest goal of reclaiming a few favorite toys from our childhood exploded into a driving passion for all things Kenner Star Wars that continues to this day.    Collectors first and foremost, we have almost 60 years combined experience buying, selling, researching and authenticating toys.   We are both extremely active in the Star Wars collecting community and have spent years building reputations based on honesty and integrity.

Make no mistake, we are collectors first and foremost.  While both of us have extensive collections filled with everything from one-of-a-kind packaging art and action figure prototypes to vintage Kenner Star Wars store displays, our goal has never been to have everything.  It's not practical or realistic.   We collect what speaks to us.  We both put greater value on unique and rare items, especially if they were used in the toy and packaging creation process.  We will also upgrade if the opportunity presents itself.   But if it has a Kenner logo, we would love to see it!  And even if what you have doesn't fit in our collections, that doesn't mean we can't help you.  We have a wide range of services to help get you get the most out of your collectibles.  We just won't pretend everything we buy is for our collections.
